Marked Down....S-A-L-E

I wanted to let you all know that I have marked down my ~Americana Snow Girl~ in my Etsy Shoppe. I haven't had time to create anything new, but thought I could mark Americana down, as I have an appeal to pay for. Yes, I am finally divorced, however, HE appealed it and now I get to go to court again, tomorrow! Wonderful! I just want to move forward with my life and I don't have money for this to continue on and on and on....I have so many attorney fees to pay for as-is. I wonder when this nightmare will end! Wish me LUCK!

good luck - if he loses his appeal your attorney should be having him pay your fees - that should stop his foolishness - been there, done that ... there is life after this and one day you'll look back and realize is was really for the best. Sending you prayers.

Hang in there Tonya. You will overcome this! It will get easier. I've been there and still single (happily). I know about trying to move on and get the fees out of the way. Don't lose your creativity and love for creating! I'm rooting for you! Hugs & smiles!!

WHAT??? WHY would he appeal it? Isn't this what HE wanted....? GRRRR!! My heart goes out to you, as a fellow member of the "Xs" club. Can you tell us what is going on now? It's been almost 2 months, did he lose his appeal?? I pray for your sake that this is over now!

Hang in there -- you have MANY people who care about you and are surely praying/sending you good thoughts!! You WILL get through this! XOXO

Thank you to each of you for taking the time to comment. I appreciate it. Thank you also for the words of wisdom and knowing that there is a light at the end of the tunnel.

Last week, I did hear back from my lawyer (finally) and yes, he did lose this appeal. Why he filed, I don't have a clue. Well, I do know why...he didn't like the decision from the judge. I tried several times to settle out of court. His answer was "no" every time and he said, "It's whatever the judge decides!" Well, guess what? He didn't like that either.

The day of court, his lawyer did say that if he didn't get a go a head from the judge to start an appeal, then he would have to take it to supreme court, however, she said after today, which was Feb. 10, 2014, she would no longer be his lawyer. And if he took it to the supreme court to try to appeal it, that he would have to obtain a different lawyer. Nothing has changed and there is no new evidence.

So, there you have it. I hope its done, for my sanity and to move forward, I need to have this done!

I think being 13 grand in the hole for a divorce is more than enough! You know what I could have done with that amount of money! Geez!

Well, for now, all is quiet and I am fine and will be fine. With each day, each week, each month, I am stronger. Thanks for asking Lisa. Suz, Sandy and Lisa, thanks for stopping by my blog.
